"To Brown and Black Boys" is a love letter to brown and black boys everywhere. It tells the story of Malcolm Brown and Beaux Black. Malcolm and Beaux are two best friends living in their hometown of New Orleans. This is a coming-of-age tale that explores the complexities of being young, black, male, and residing in the South.

 

As Malcolm and Beaux grow and mature, they learn the value of hard work, follow through, and perseverance. The best friends, gain strength and knowledge from the positive and negative experiences they encounter.

 

"To Brown and Black Boys," is prequel to "Brown Girl, Brown Girl". "To Brown and Black Boys," aid in shining a light on the magnificence of brown and black males.
